Julie Marie is a singer/songwriter who strongly believes

in the powerful influence music has over each and every

person. It is her goal as a musician and lyricist to create

a musical experience that leaves her listeners vulnerably

aware that even if their dreams collapse around them, a

very real and life-altering destiny awaits them...should

they choose to embrace it.

Before graduating from her second year of Masters Commission, Julie Marie spent a week with one of her

heroes, Sarah Kelly, that caused the ignition of her

passion and talent for songwriting. She went on to spend two wonderful years working with a great deal of artistic, talented, and passionate people at Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. While there she served one term as secretary and one term as chair person of the CFNI mass choir, in addition to earning her practical theology diploma, music minor, and license to minister under the guidance of the Fellowship of Ministers and Churches.

Julie Marie continues to study voice, a variety of strings, and piano through private instruction.  She is currently in collaboration with several extremely talented individuals at Northwest Christian University where she is working towards a BA in Music Industry and Psychology, and a business minor, in addition to touring with VIRTUE, the vocal ensemble that represents NCU, and participating in the NCU Community Choir.  Upon graduation Julie Marie plans to pursue a masters degree in social work with a focus on music therapy. She prides herself in the time she has spent over the last eight years practicing honest and ethical leadership not only in the music industry but as a citizen of the wonderfully diverse world in which we live.

Julie Marie’s life is a testimony that the nightmares we all face at some point in life, do not have to last. Since the painful loss of her one-month-old son in 2001, Julie Marie has been taking this message across the country in response to the call that God has placed on her life. 

Communicating the unexplainable peace that only God can provide has become the driving force behind Julie Marie’s ministry. In her own words, "I want my life to be an inspiration to those whose paths I cross.  I hope to genuinely communicate that while times will come in life when we feel that we have been robbed of everything we thought we were living for, it is during these times that God, in his sovereignty, will reveal that He has allowed us to lose our dreams to find our destiny."
